Zoom Apero Wednesday 30th September 18h00 - 19h30 QUIZ NIGHT!!
The Zoom apero will take the form of a quiz. One team per computer. Questions and answers in both French and English. Great prizes (well a bottle I think). Those of you who have taken part in previous Zoom Aperos will receive an invitation by email from Melissa Payson. If you would like to join in and have not registered before, contact us. Thanks especially to Steph, and to Melissa who will sort out the technical side. See you there!
VO films at Vauban cinema, Port-Vendres -
Recipe Book - featuring favourite recipes from our members, the booklet is on sale now. We have ordered more of our excellent Recipe Books, having sold all the first 100,
and they have just arrived, so get your orders to us as soon as you can.
VI Groups - As the association grows, a variety of separate groups
representing different activities are emerging, so if you are keen on any of the groups, let us know.
Russian: The small group of Russian speakers meets in Port Vendres on Fridays at 1500 for conversation and coffee when Tanya is here. Contact Linda for details.
Spanish: Carol Fraine has offered to lead a Spanish conversation group on Thursday afternoons if you want to go along. Again, contact Linda for details of venue. (Beginners level, but more advanced also possible.)
English: I'm sorry not to have made more progress here. The idea is to meet for an hour or so for a chance for conversation practice. I shall be sending out a short podcast in the coming days to give a theme to get us started. This is not a beginners' group, but a chance to polish up language skills that may be a little rusty.
Bird Watching: I send out occasional information to those who are interested in the birds of this area. If you would like to receive these emails, let me know.
