"Last Wednesday Apèro" -  at 18.00 to 19.30 on the last Wednesday of each month. An informal chat and a drink at a different venue each time.  The next one will coincide with the picnic at Madeloc...

Picnic at Refuge Madeloc - We provide bread, salad, drink and a large BBQ. You bring something to cook on the BBQ and a dish or dessert to share. 10€ Stay as long as you like. Either park at the Casernes du Centre and walk up or get a lift up to the top if you need it. It all starts with aperos at 12h00, at the Refuge. Tell us if you want to come and we will send out more details. This is the last Wednesday so it replaces the usual aperos.

Cinema at Port Vendres - On 6th June Vauban Cinema PV at 18h00 a film about ceramics in French, and at 21h00 an original version film in English "Just Charlie", a drama about a young footballer directed by Rebekah Fortune.

VI Groups - As the association grows, a variety of separate groups representing different activities are emerging, so if you are keen on any of the groups, let us know.

Russian: The small group of Russian speakers meets in Port Vendres on Fridays at 1500 for conversation and coffee when Tanya is here. Contact Linda for details.

Spanish: Carol Fraine has offered to lead a Spanish conversation group on Thursday afternoons if you want to go along. Again, contact Linda for details of venue. (Beginners level, but more advanced also possible.)

English: I'm sorry not to have made more progress here. The idea is to meet for an hour or so for a chance for conversation practice. I shall be sending out a short podcast in the coming days to give a theme to get us started. This is not a beginners' group, but a chance to polish up language skills that may be a little rusty.

Bird Watching: I send out occasional information to those who are interested in the birds of this area. If you would like to receive these emails, let me know.
